Use the guides as one quality workflow

Define the material. Before acquisition, document the required identity, chemical form, purity, quantitative content, formulation and acceptance criteria.
Verify the received lot. Match the product name, presentation and lot on the vial to the supplier record and complete analytical report.
Control storage history. Record storage location, monitored range, opening date, preparation or aliquot identifiers, freeze–thaw history and excursions.
Confirm assay readiness. Before use, verify that the material remains inside the laboratory’s validated handling window and attach the correct lot record.
Preserve reproducibility. Retain the lot, preparation, handling, control and analytical records needed to reproduce or investigate the result.

Why orthogonal evidence matters

Analytical methods answer method-specific questions. HPLC area percentage describes a chromatographic profile under stated conditions; it does not prove molecular identity or peptide mass per vial. An intact-mass result can support identity but does not automatically quantify content. BulkGLP tests both microbiological sterility and bacterial endotoxin, with each result documented by lot.

A defensible review therefore considers the complete evidence set: lot traceability, identity, chromatographic purity, quantitative content, formulation information and any additional attributes required by the study.
